Who owns the fan/patron data?

You do. Always. StageOwn stores data on your behalf and you can export it at any time. We never sell, share, or market to your fans. The moment you export, you have everything.

What integrations do you support?

CSV export works with any email platform, with direct push integrations for Mailchimp and Klaviyo. Already have a list elsewhere? Import a fan list or a Shopify merch catalog straight from a CSV, or bring in your whole tour from a calendar file or spreadsheet — Songkick, Seated, Bandsintown, and Google Calendar all work. More integrations land based on member feedback.

Can I manage more than one artist from one login?

Yes. Team access works both directions: invite people onto your own account (a manager, a merch person) with their own login, or hold a seat on someone else's account with yours — a manager running three different acts doesn't need three different logins. Admins can also assign or revoke that access directly if it needs to change hands.

What if I have a low-turnout show?

StageOwn works at any size. Even 15 opt-ins from a small room is 15 direct contacts you didn't have before. There's no minimum fan count.

What does the morning report include?

A formatted PDF and CSV with each fan's name, email, phone (optional), city, zip, how far they traveled, whether they bought merch, and their favorite song pick — all from one scan.

Can I use StageOwn at any venue, or only ones on the platform?

Any venue. Your QR code works wherever you're playing. If it's a StageOwn festival, that scan also feeds the festival's own list at the same time (co-capture) — you keep every fan either way.

Can fans actually buy merch through StageOwn, or is it just sign-up?

Fans can browse your merch and place an order — item, size, quantity — right on the same QR page they opt in on. Orders land on a fulfillment board you run from the merch table, so you're not juggling a separate checkout app on top of your fan list.

What happens during the show itself?

Show Night mode is your live command center: opt-ins roll in as fans scan, merch orders land in a feed you can fulfill from your phone, and the poll updates in real time. Plug the Stage Screen into the venue TV for a giant scannable QR with a live fan counter.

How does the prize drawing work?

Drawings are optional and per-show — turn one on and set whatever prize you want: signed merch, a guitar, dinner with the band. Every fan who scans is automatically entered — no tickets, no fishbowl. When you're ready, hit "Pick Tonight's Winner" in Show Night mode: StageOwn draws a random entry and can reveal the winner on the venue's big screen.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Apply, and once you're accepted, start capturing fans on the free tier immediately — no card required. Upgrade to Pro whenever you outgrow it.

Question 13

How do I clean up my fan list or shows if I imported something wrong?

Accepted Answer

Both the fan list and your shows have a bulk-delete option — select specific rows or clear everything at once. Either way, you have to type a confirmation word first, so a stray click can't wipe your data.
